Origin Code full website experience will officially launch on August 1, 2026.

FAQ

Some VORTEX DDR5 kits may require memory training on first boot or after a configuration change. For 32 GB, 48 GB, 192 GB, and 256 GB kits, this process may take approximately 1-3 minutes, depending on the CPU’s integrated memory controller (IMC) and system configuration.

VORTEX DDR5 is currently optimized primarily for AMD platforms. Intel systems may require manual memory tuning, and stable operation at 8000 MT/s depends on the capabilities of the CPU and motherboard.

In most cases, no. The motherboard automatically applies the preset memory profile, so manual adjustments to timings or voltage are typically not required.

The two offer comparable real-world performance but are tuned with different priorities. The 6200 C28 kit runs at C28-35-35-76 at 1.35 V, with a notably tight tRCD of 35 that appeals to overclocking enthusiasts. The 6000 C26 kit focuses on lower CAS latency, achieving C26 in a 48 GB (24 GB × 2) configuration for users who prioritize low-latency performance at higher capacity.

A 10-layer low-loss PCB helps preserve signal integrity at high frequencies, providing greater headroom for memory overclocking when platform conditions allow. Thermal adhesive and thermal pads improve heat transfer, helping support stable operation under high-frequency workloads.

Four-DIMM, high-capacity memory configurations can place greater demands on platform memory support and tuning, and optimization may vary by motherboard. We recommend updating to the latest BIOS first. If the issue persists, contact Origin Code technical support for further assistance.

Yes. The dedicated VORTEX cooling fan included with the memory kit is covered by a 3-year limited warranty. If you experience an issue with the fan, please contact Origin Code customer support for assistance.

Refer to the QVL or compatibility information for your product to view validated system configurations. We recommend checking this information before purchase to confirm that your intended configuration has been validated.

No. QVL information is based on internal testing and/or test results provided by third-party manufacturers and is intended for reference only. Actual compatibility and performance may vary depending on the specific hardware configuration, firmware version, operating environment, and other factors. A QVL listing does not guarantee operation at the rated speed on every system.
